About

Iris Lam is a dually registered physiotherapist in Hong Kong and Australia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Major) from Curtin University, Australia.

With extensive clinical experience spanning public hospitals and private practice, Iris has treated a diverse patient population, including those with musculoskeletal, sports-related, geriatric, and neurological conditions. She currently specializes in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries for amateur and semi-professional athletes.

Driven by a strong interest in chronic pain management—particularly spinal conditions—and a firm belief that “movement heals,” Iris incorporates Pilates-based rehabilitation into her practice. Her holistic approach is backed by an advanced toolkit that includes clinical acupuncture, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Anatomy Trains concepts, Kinesio Taping, and strength & conditioning. Iris is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, individualized care that integrates manual therapy, targeted exercise prescription, movement analysis, and patient education, empowering individuals to achieve optimal recovery, prevent injuries, and sustain long-term functional health.

Iris is also dedicated to managing scoliosis in both adolescent and adult populations. Her treatment philosophy centers on the principle that restoring three-dimensional bodily balance is essential to facilitating internal detorsion and expanding collapsed spinal regions. By integrating specialized expansion techniques with targeted neuromuscular activation, she empowers patients to adopt simple, impactful corrective movements into their daily routines. This comprehensive approach enables individuals to optimize spinal alignment, rebuild physical confidence, and safely return to the activities they love.
